FAQ

Check out the answers to some of my most frequently asked questions below. If there’s something you still need to know or an answer isn’t detailed enough, please get in touch for more information.

  • What is the difference between Physical Therapy and Wellness/Injury Prevention?
Wellness programs and Injury Prevention programs are for those that are injury free and ineligible for Physical Therapy. Most patients that have completed a plan of care for Physical Therapy will stay on program as wellness and injury prevention, as well as individuals that are looking to maintain an active lifestyle. These programs are not eligible for insurance reimbursement.
  • Do you offer virtual appointments?
Our Nutrition programs can be offered virtually. Physical Therapy must be in person due to the manual nature of our treatments. We offer program designs and injury prevention programs that can be performed virtually or online.
  • What should I wear?
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing to your appointments. Your Physical Therapist will perform a detailed posture analysis in order to provide a treatment customized for your body. Most treatments require direct contact with the skin.
  • Do I need a prescription for Physical Therapy?
You can see a Physical Therapist for 10 visits or 30 days prior to needing a prescription from your doctor.
